Public Holidays Saarland
All statutory public holidays in Saarland – calculated from the Saarland Holiday Act (Saarländisches Feiertagsgesetz).
Saarland has a total of 12 statutory public holidays, 253 working days and 11 possible bridge days in 2026.
The legal basis is the Saarland Holiday Act (Saarländisches Feiertagsgesetz) and, for movable holidays, the computation of Easter according to the Gregorian calendar. If a holiday falls on a weekend, the extra day off is effectively lost.
